Born in Seoul, I was raised by my Korean grandmother (halmoni) who had a local acupuncturist friend doing home visits, went to open market and shown me the value of ginger, ginseng, chrysanthemum, and other teas. She would demonstrate pressure and strokes on my hand then tested me on where ever her aches were. When I was 12, I was given the news of a terminal ill parent. This motivated me to relearn the values of herbs along with diet and lifestyle habits to promote health. Later with my gestational pregnancy, the universe reminded me once again the values from the earth, this time in the form of aromatherapy and flower essences. As a Navy vet I was given an opportunity to visit far off countries and observe many modalities of healing and how powerful holding space is.
Having been a student of healing all my life, I decided to take it a step further and am a proud graduate from the American College of Healthcare Sciences on herbs, holistic healing, and aromatherapy. I am in the midst of finishing my last term to receive my B.S in Integrative Health.
I opened my shop to share and help facilitate the bodies natural ability to heal. I would love to provide my skills to better your life.
